Forklift (F) Endorsement Certificate

For operators who are required to operate a forklift on a road or anywhere deemed to be a public road. We offer an Forklift (F) Endorsement course which when added to a NZ Drivers License Class 1 allows the holder to drive on a road. Road includes: a place to which the public have access, whether as of right or not. Public roads include, but are not limited to: car parks, driveways, footpaths).

F Endorsement

We offer an Forklift (F) Endorsement course which when added to a NZ Drivers License Class 1 allows the holder to drive on a road (road includes: a place to which the public have access, whether as of right or not. Public roads include, but are not limited to: car parks, driveways, footpaths).

You must have a NZ Full Class 1 Drivers Licence and bring this with you to the training session to be eligible to take and receive the resulting certificate, other conditions apply. See prerequisites and terms and conditions for details.

On successful completion of this course you will also receive the following NZQA unit standard subject to student holding NZQA National Student Number (see details below)

Unit Standard 18496 - Demonstrate knowledge and skills for driving a forklift on a road for endorsement F (2 credits level 3)

  • F Endorsement can be run in conjunction with other courses (see Forklift Operator and Optional F Endorsement)
  • Please bring NZQA (NSN) number along to course (if you have one). If you have one but don't know the number, you can ring 0800 697 296 to obtain it.

Prerequisites

  1. Acceptance of all terms and conditions presented in enrolment process
  2. Clothing should not be too loose or baggy such that it could be snagged or become entangled in machinery.
  3. Wear steel capped work boots if you have them or fully enclosed flat shoes suitable for operating heavy machinery.
  4. Long hair must be tied back.
  5. Specific Forklift (F) endorsement requirements
    1. Must have NZ Drivers License Full Class 1
    2. No Alcohol Interlock License
    3. No Special Conditions "Must be accompanied by supervisor (except moped/ATV)"

Wheels (W), Tracks (T) and Roller (R) Endorsements (WTR) This course is designed to cover all 3 endorsements: Wheels, Tracks & Roller Endorsements. During the enrollment you can elect to take one or two of the endorsements or all three depending on your need. It is recommended to take all three endorsements because of savings and time compared to undertaking these endorsements individually.

This course is a one-day course designed for operators who have different levels of practical experience (Learner, Standard, Refresher) operating forklifts but do not hold a certificate or requires renewal. We also offer an Forklift (F) Endorsement course which when added to a NZ Drivers License Class 1 allows the holder to drive on a road (road includes: a place to which the public have access, whether as of right or not. Public roads include, but are not limited to: car parks, driveways, footpaths).

Dangerous Goods (D) Endorsement Issue or Renewal. If you're a driver transporting dangerous goods, you may need a current D endorsement on your driver licence.
