Wheels (W), Tracks (T) and Roller (R) Endorsements (WTR)
Wheels (W), Tracks (T) and Roller (R) Endorsements (WTR) This course is designed to cover all 3 endorsements: Wheels, Tracks & Roller Endorsements. During the enrollment you can elect to take one or two of the endorsements or all three depending on your need. It is recommended to take all three endorsements because of savings and time compared to undertaking these endorsements individually.
Description
If you drive a special-type vehicle on the road, you must have an endorsement on your licence as follows.
(Three separate endorsements as outlined below, booking this course gives you the option to take ALL three Endorsements or those that apply to your need).
W - Is needed to drive any type of wheeled machinery, eg loader, bobcat, grader, motor scraper.
T - Is needed to drive any type of tracked machine, excavators, bulldozer, tank.
R - Is needed to drive any type of roller machine, road roller.
The definition of road in NZ is very broad and includes: a place to which the public have access, whether as of right or not. Public roads include, but are not limited to: Car parks, driveways, footpaths.
*Note: no lunch is provided during training sessions
Prerequisites
- Acceptance of all terms and conditions presented in enrolment process
- Clothing should not be too loose or baggy such that it could be snagged or become entangled in machinery.
- Wear steel capped work boots if you have them or fully enclosed flat shoes suitable for operating heavy machinery.
- Long hair must be tied back.
- Must have a NZ Drivers License Full Class 1
- No Alcohol Interlock License
- No Special Conditions "Must be accompanied by supervisor (except moped/ATV)"
